Who knew that a toddler in footie pjs could create enough static electricity to majorly mess up a computer?

I sure didn't.
I guess that is one of those things you have to see to believe and even then it takes a moment to sink in.
I couldn't believe it. All he did was touch the mouse but it affected so many things. It took me a whole day and a half to get the computer running correctly again. It took another 2 days to back up all the photos to CD. 30 700mb CDs. Austin then stole it for a whole day to work in AutoCad. And late last night I got the internet working again.
Let me just say it has been a very long week. Austin was ready to just go and buy a new computer. While a new one would be nice this one had all my photos on it. Everything!! All of Mason's baby photos that I just couldn't lose. Not to mention all of my other photos.
Needless to say I am very happy to have it up and running again.
I have some posts that will be back dated because I wanted them to be on 2008 so don't forget to scroll down. It might be tomorrow before I get them all posted but eventually they will be there.
