My Son...

Whenever I am in the office Mason is usually in the living room destroying something playing. Occasionally he will play in the dining room where I can see him. It just amazes me as to what he thinks being 'bad' entails. He will absolutely destroy my living room everyday and doesn't think this is misbehaving. Yet when he is playing with say his John Deere ride on in the dining room and he is trying to stand on it he thinks that is being bad and doesn't want me to watch him.

Take today for example. I am Emailing and he is trying to stand on the John Deere toy, he looks over and sees me watching him. He stops what he is doing and smiles sweetly, steps down from the toy, still with the sweet smile, walks over to the door, still with the sweet smile, starts to shut the door. When the door is almost shut he sticks his head in and smiles sweetly again at me and then shuts the door all the way and pats it. Then I hear the sound of little feet running across the room.

I jump out of my chair and out the other office door and stand in the living room and watch what he is doing. Yep, trying to stand on the toy in the middle of the room. He looks over and sees me and gets all mad because I am watching him.

I am afraid that I am going to have start tethering him to me.
