The roads were passable so Austin went to work today. I have never been so glad to see the tail lights leave the driveway. I didn't even complain when he had to take my car.
Before anyone goes thinking I am a cold hearted person they should know that he was a royal pain in the rump yesterday. I even reminded him that if the roads were too bad he could work from home today again.
I had to play the good wife all day. I made him breakfast lunch and dinner. All in the same day. I felt used. I don't think my being a 'good wife' should mean I have to cook all three meals on a weekday. I even made corn bread for dinner to go with the chili. I really do spoil him.
