'Work from home' and other absurd ideas

My husband ended up going to work this morning and coming home early... He got home around 1 or 1:30. Way earlier than I had planned on seeing him.
It never fails though when he 'works' from home the house gets real quiet... like really quiet. Any one that knows me knows that the quiet irritates me. Annoys me. Aggravates me. Distracts me. I guess boiled down I just don't like it.

I like noise. I like when Mason screams and yells and laughs. I like having my tv on in the kitchen so that I can listen to my soap opera or the news. Anything. It just can't feel like I'm the only adult home. I know I'm crazy...

My husband likes it quiet. I don't understand it. I'm not even going to try to understand it.

The last time he worked from home I told him if he wanted it quiet to go upstairs and work in our bedroom. He didn't appreciate that. I didn't care. I have noticed that he hasn't said anything today. But then again it is somewhat quiet in here. Mason is in the kitchen watching a movie and the noise seems to stay fairly well in there.

It is cold outside and the wind is really blowing. I think we are fairly well done with the snow for this storm. We have a couple 3 inches. Unfortunately that couple 3 inches is blowing around. Our house is protected fairly good with our wind break but I can see the snow blowing across the road. Mason thinks we should be outside playing in all the new snow. I think he got is common sense from his father. Ha! Enough said!
